Greater Love Hath No Man.........

Wow! That's it, just wow!

He's got that right, spot on! BlackFive found this example of what's the best in mankind. The Armed Forces of the United States are better demonstrated by this small individual act than the monstorous overemphasis on the acts of a very few individuals getting out of hand in Iraq.

But, will the media admit their bias; not at all. They deliberately stifle anything that might allow the States to look anything but evil.

A pox on all their 'media houses'...may they crumble to dust !!

A pox on those who follow every one of Bush's commands blindly, unquestioning.

A pox on any American who forgets their duty of being ever vigilant to dangers to our freedoms both at home and away.

A pox for anyone who seriously believes either candidate isn't a bought and sold commodity of big buisness and lobbyist.

The only real reason to not elect George Bush comes down to what Americans want their neighbors, other countries, to think of them as a group.

George Bush elected will demonstrate to all we condone torture, lying, and a religious crusade against Islam.

A vote for Kerry will show the majority of Americans do not follow this thinking.

As to the military. Compassion can be found in war. But also hatred and prejudice. For every good work done in a war there are as many if not more autrocities commited in the name of the moral high ground.

War is an immoral buisness. Torture cannot be seen as more immoral than killing someone, but should not be made a spectacle. So here we have a case of the ignorant few doing something that gives a bad name to the many. One or two acts of kindness by the military will not wash away the images portrayed.

How sad that IXLNXS hates his own country so badly.

Sadly the whole effort to free the Iraqi people from the oppression of Sadam and his torturers has now become an electioneering football between the apologists for Sadam and those who support intervention. Somehwere between no doubt lies the opinion of the Iraqi people - and if there is one good thing to emerge from the disgraceful behaviour of the few bad apples in the US military barrel, it is the fact that, having exposed it and done something about it,we now have the spectacle of the Arabic News Channels questioning why their stations/media can't do the same to their regimes. Some real good may emerge from this after all - which may break the Mullahs grip on power forever.
